Display header cart content on mouse over - opencart 1.5x

Currently the opencart header cart content displays when you click on items. If you want it to display when you move your mouse over it here is how do it:

Edit the file catalog/view/javascript/common.js and find the line:

$('#cart > .heading a').bind('click', function() {

and you replace it with:

$('#cart > .heading').bind('mouseover', function() {

That is all.

Hi..! Nice hack! I have 1 question to ask in this regard. When my cart is empty, the [header cart] "empty" class with message "There are no products in your shopping cart!" does not appear. I have checked cart.tpl with original, they are the same. Have not made any major changes besides background color n all. Could you plz suggest me as to which file i should check? I have searched forums but could find nothing! and i did not wish to open a new thread for this. Any help would be appreciated...!!! Thanks, Jane Reply to this comment
